Class Work
This section features a mix of projects I’ve completed as part of my Graphic Communications coursework. From branding exercises to layout design and visual problem-solving, these pieces reflect what I’ve learned so far and how I’m continuing to grow as a designer.
Guard Dog Packaging
Guard Dog is a concept brand I created for a semester-long class project focused on branding within specific design constraints. I was given the colors black, orange, and brown along with the pet industry. To push myself creatively, I developed a natural line of flea and tick prevention products that included a supplement, a protective collar, and a paw and nose moisturizer.
Throughout the project, I designed four unique packages and even built a custom retail display stand. This project allowed me to explore brand storytelling, packaging design, and how to create a consistent visual experience from product to shelf.

Poppy's Bagels Menu
Poppy’s Bagels was based on an early class project where we were asked to design a menu. I created a concept for a friendly neighborhood bagel shop and focused on a layout that felt clean, readable, and full of character. This project helped me practice using typography, color, and layout to create a strong first impression through a simple printed piece.
Vogue Magazine Cover
For this early assignment, we were tasked with designing a magazine cover. I chose to recreate a Zendaya Vogue cover, focusing on bold color, texture, and energy. I wanted the design to feel vibrant and expressive, capturing the confidence and style of both the subject and the brand.

Nike Advertisement
For this project, we were asked to recreate a well-known advertisement from an existing brand. I chose to recreate a Nike Run campaign ad, focusing on strong typography, bold imagery, and the energetic tone Nike is known for. The goal was to match the style and impact of the original while practicing layout, brand consistency, and visual rhythm.
Halloween Coffee Mug Design
For this project we designed artwork for a dye sublimation coffee mug. I created a Halloween themed design using purple and yellow as the main colors, with fog, gravestones, and a haunted house to bring the scene to life. This project was a fun way to combine illustration and atmosphere on a small but detailed canvas.

Movie Poster Design
For this project we were asked to design a poster for a made up movie of our choice. At the time I was really into psychological thrillers, so I created a film concept called They Will Rise. The storyline was a little unclear, but the cast was stacked with actors, directors, and producers known for creating intense and unsettling films.
The fire angel graphic ended up becoming the star of the piece and made me completely fall in love with Photoshop. The original image started as just a snowy cabin, and watching it transform into something so dramatic and surreal was one of my favorite creative moments.
King Kong Popcorn
For this project we were tasked with designing packaging for a chip bag. I could not resist turning it into a popcorn bag instead since I am completely obsessed with popcorn. I leaned into classic food color choices like red and yellow and built the concept around a bold name, King Kong Popcorn. The design includes King Kong inspired elements that give the packaging a playful and dramatic feel while still looking at home on a snack shelf.

Tiger T-Shirt Design
For this project, we were asked to create a design for direct to garment printing. I took the opportunity to design a bold Clemson Tiger graphic that I printed on a t-shirt. While I no longer have a photo of the final product, this design remains one of my favorites. It gave me the chance to explore illustrative style and create something fun and wearable.
Coaster Set Design
For this dye sublimation project we designed artwork for a set of coasters. I created a whimsical scene featuring big cats with insect wings resting on flowers. It was cute, colorful, and just a little unexpected. And of course, as a Clemson student, I had to show some love for big cats.

Valentine's Day Card
For this class project we used the HP Indigo liquid ink electrophotographic printer to lay down a solid black layer, which allowed us to apply foil using foil application equipment. I designed a playful Valentine’s Day card featuring a pizza illustration, and the red hearts were finished with shiny red foil. It was a fun and hands-on way to explore the printing process while creating something light and expressive.
